Get to Know Me

I’ve always been drawn to the moments people almost miss. The quiet ones. The loud ones. The beautifully ordinary ones. The moments that make us laugh unexpectedly, hold each other tighter, or stop and realize life is happening right now. Before I am a photographer, writer, or creator, I am a wife, a mother, and a teacher. Those roles shape everything I make. My creativity does not come from wanting attention or recognition. It comes from love. Love for people, for stories, for connection, and for the moments that deserve to be remembered. People often ask if I get paid to photograph Barron Collier events, Friday night lights, theater performances, and everyday school moments. I do not. Those photographs are simply a labor of love for the students, staff, families, and community I care deeply about. The real reward has always been the smiles, the memories, and the occasional “Thank you, Mrs. Sponseller.” Photography began as a labor of love long before it ever became a business. While I hope to continue growing professionally and taking on more creative work through photography, writing, and The Salty Muse, I never want money to replace the reason I started creating in the first place. This website is a collection of the things I love and the things I create. Through photography, writing, The Salty Muse journals, and the brands and products I genuinely enjoy, I hope to help people reconnect with what makes them feel alive, grounded, creative, comforted, or understood. Whether you’re here to document a meaningful moment, find a journal that helps you slow down and reflect, or simply explore things that bring more beauty into everyday life, I’m glad you found your way here. This space is not just about building a business. It’s about building connection. And maybe helping people find a little more of their happy too.
